Remembering Rio: Cookies & Canvas for the Heart

Lexington Event Center 112 E. Lexington Ave. Elkhart, IN
This event honors the 4-year anniversary of Rio’s passing. In remembrance of Rio’s creativity and joyful spirit, families will participate in a Cookies & Canvas experience with age-appropriate opportunities for creative expression, reflection, and togetherness.
Activities include free cookie decorating, henna tattoos, face painting, music, and the Elkhart Public Library Mobile Bus providing one free book for each child. Community vendors will also be present to share valuable resources with attendees.

Speak Our Truth Project: Community Child Safety Forum

Lexington Event Center 112 E. Lexington Ave. Elkhart, IN
This will be our first community forum inviting youth, parents, and the greater community to openly discuss child safety concerns in Elkhart County and explore what legislation is needed to address identified gaps.
We’ve partnered with the Children’s Policy & Law Initiative (CPLI), who will join us from Indianapolis to speak about empowering local youth as change agents and civic leaders.
Community vendors will also be present to share valuable resources with attendees.

Rio’s Rainbow Mother’s Day Comedy Night Fundraiser
In partnership with Pedigree Entertainment, this special evening will feature comedy headliners Alex Ortiz, Chelsea Snedden, and Kevin Williams, with host Marci Deloney.
Tickets: $30 General Admission | $50 VIP
25% of all proceeds will be donated to Rio’s Rainbow to support our ongoing mission of anti-bullying and child safety in Indiana.
